JLPT | Dungeon Maze
The Japanese JLPT kanji, beautifully displayed in a dungeon maze.
Free Movement
Use the cursor keys to freely move around the maze. Watch out for the ninja.
Standard PDF
If your device can display a PDF, then you can use this. No special code or macros.
Graded
The higher the level, the bigger and more difficult the maze becomes. The most difficult version (N1) also has 1000+ kanji.
Why?
I wanted a low-key, low-stress way of remembering kanji. You can use the maze as a challenge, or simply take a relaxing walk. Either way, it's a fun way of building kanji familiarity without too much effort.
Also, as a developer, the idea of making a 3D maze work in a normal PDF just sounded like too much fun to pass up.
1. Following your purchase, you’ll receive a download link.
2. If the PDF opens in your browser, you can just save it as an offline PDF ("Save to files" if you have an iPhone/iPad).
3. Kindles sometimes don’t work smoothly with large PDFs, depending on the device and software version.
4. reMarkable devices can be a little picky with filenames. If it doesn't work, rename the file to something simple like "Maze.pdf".
5. BOOX devices sometimes apply automatic cropping, which may look odd. Just reset the crop from the menu.
6. iPads and other tablets work as expected. For the iPad, use the free "Apple Books" app to view the PDF.
